Endovenous laser treatment for varicose veins and spider veins — minimally invasive, day-care ablation.

Endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) uses laser energy delivered through a thin fiber inside the vein to close off varicose veins from the inside, avoiding open surgical stripping — also used for spider vein removal. The Photoniccs laser’s 1470nm wavelength suits this application well: effective ablation at lower power, with less thermal spread into surrounding tissue and a faster patient recovery. Irimed’s microwave ablation system offers a second energy-based option for varicose vein treatment.
